Overview
The master switch of the reproductive axis, with genuine human research showing it drives LH, testosterone and sexual-response signalling — including studies of arousal pathways. Consumer libido products extrapolate from that research base.
Mechanism
Stimulates GnRH release, driving LH/FSH and downstream sex-hormone signalling; brain-imaging studies also link it to sexual and emotional processing.
