TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)

A synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein central to actin regulation and wound healing. Preclinical work supports the repair biology, which drives its popularity for injury recovery; published human data on the fragment itself are still early-stage.
GHK-Cu

A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide widely used in topical cosmetics, where it has the most support. Injectable use is anecdotal.
Ipamorelin
Animal / preclinicalA selective growth-hormone secretagogue prized for its clean profile: it stimulates GH release with minimal effect on cortisol, prolactin or appetite, which is why it became a staple of GH-focused protocols. Formal outcome trials for physique and recovery goals haven't been run.
CJC-1295

A GHRH analogue that amplifies the body's natural GH pulses, classically paired with ipamorelin to hit both release pathways at once. Pharmacology studies show substantial, sustained GH and IGF-1 elevation, especially with the DAC variant; physique outcome trials are lacking.

Melanotan II

PT-141 (Bremelanotide)

A synthetic tetrapeptide from the long-running Russian bioregulator programme, where decades of studies reported telomerase activation and improved survival in elderly cohorts. Those results are intriguing but come largely from one research group, without independent replication yet.
Semax
Human observationalAn ACTH-derived peptide with decades of clinical use in Russia for stroke recovery, cognitive complaints and attention, and a popular intranasal nootropic elsewhere. The independent, Western RCT base hasn't caught up with that regional clinical history.
Selank
Human observationalA tuftsin-based peptide developed in Russia and used there clinically for anxiety — notable for reports of calm without sedation or dependence, which is what draws nootropic users. Like Semax, its regional clinical history outpaces independent Western trials.
Thymosin Alpha-1

Retatrutide

The fat-loss fragment of human growth hormone, designed to trigger lipolysis without GH's growth and blood-sugar effects. It went through real human trials — a rarity in this category — which found it well tolerated but without meaningful weight loss, so the honest picture here is mixed.
Hexarelin
Animal / preclinicalThe most potent of the classic growth-hormone-releasing peptides, with research interest extending to cardioprotective effects. Its trade-offs are known: it can raise cortisol/prolactin and receptors desensitise with continuous use, which shapes how the community cycles it.
GHRP-6

One of the original growth-hormone-releasing peptides, distinctive for the strong hunger response that makes it popular in appetite- and mass-focused phases. GH release is its established effect; formal physique outcome trials haven't been run.

IGF-1 LR3

A modified, long-acting form of IGF-1 — one of the most anabolic signalling molecules in the body — engineered to stay active far longer than the native hormone. That potency is the appeal in bodybuilding and also the risk: hypoglycaemia and indiscriminate tissue growth are real, and it is WADA-prohibited.

The body's own front-line antimicrobial peptide, with a large research literature on host defence and wound healing. Its biology is genuinely double-edged (context-dependent pro- and anti-inflammatory roles), and injectable product use runs ahead of the human trial base.

A neuropeptide isolated from sleeping rabbits in the 1970s and studied for deep-sleep promotion and stress modulation. The original research era produced mixed results and modern trials never followed, so today's use rests on that early work plus community reports.

The master switch of the reproductive axis, with genuine human research showing it drives LH, testosterone and sexual-response signalling — including studies of arousal pathways. Consumer libido products extrapolate from that research base.

An orally active, non-peptide (small-molecule) GLP-1 receptor agonist. It reported positive phase 3 results in 2025 and has been submitted for regulatory review; it is not yet approved for general use.
Afamelanotide

An alpha-MSH analogue approved as Scenesse (a subcutaneous implant) to reduce phototoxicity in erythropoietic protoporphyria (EPP). It is the well-regulated cousin of the unapproved Melanotan II; approved use is narrow and clinician-administered.

A pegylated form of mechano growth factor — the IGF-1 splice variant muscle produces in response to mechanical stress, which activates satellite cells for repair. That biology is real and well studied; product use in humans hasn't been trialled, and it is WADA-prohibited.
Follistatin-344

A form of follistatin, the body's natural myostatin blocker. Gene-therapy and animal studies produced dramatic muscle growth — the famous 'double-muscled' phenotypes — which is the draw; whether an injected peptide product reproduces any of that in humans is untested, and it falls under WADA's myostatin-related prohibitions.
VIP (Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide)

A signalling peptide with broad anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory roles. Its synthetic form (aviptadil) has been investigated for lung conditions; intranasal VIP appears in off-label chronic-inflammatory (CIRS) protocols with limited formal evidence.

A thymus-derived peptide preparation used clinically in Russia and some neighbouring countries as an immunomodulator. Independent evidence outside that setting is limited.
Humanin

The first mitochondrial-derived peptide discovered, studied for protecting cells against stress-induced death, with human studies linking higher natural levels to longevity — centenarian families show elevated humanin. Supplementation itself hasn't been trialled.
Dihexa

A small angiotensin IV–derived peptide from Alzheimer's research, reported in its originating lab to be orders of magnitude more potent than BDNF at driving new synapse formation in rodent models. Human studies haven't happened, and its growth-factor mechanism is the open safety question.
Cerebrolysin

A mixture of low-molecular-weight peptides and amino acids derived from pig brain, approved in a number of countries for stroke, dementia and traumatic brain injury. It is not approved in the US or UK, and trial results are mixed.
Pinealon

A tripeptide from the same Russian bioregulator programme as epithalon, studied there for cognitive function and neuroprotection under oxidative stress. As with the rest of the programme, the interesting reported results await independent replication.
Glutathione

The body's main intracellular antioxidant, a tripeptide of glutamate, cysteine and glycine. It has legitimate research and some clinical uses, but injectable use for skin-lightening is unproven and has drawn safety warnings from regulators.
Argireline

A topical cosmetic peptide marketed as a needle-free alternative to botulinum toxin for expression lines. Its support is for topical cosmetic use; it is not an injectable and effects are modest.
Adipotide

An experimental targeted peptide designed to kill the blood supply of fat tissue. It produced weight loss in obese primates but also caused kidney toxicity, and it has not progressed to approved human use.
