IGF-1 LR3
Animal / preclinicalWADA prohibitedAlso known as: Long R3 IGF-1
Community-reported ranges are anecdotal and not clinically validated. Evidence grade shown reflects the strength of available human data. Not a prescription. Legal status varies by country and changes over time; verify locally.
Overview
A modified, long-acting form of insulin-like growth factor 1 used in bodybuilding. Carries real risks (hypoglycaemia, tissue growth) and is WADA-prohibited.
Mechanism
Activates IGF-1 receptors driving cell growth; the LR3 modification extends half-life and reduces binding-protein inactivation.
Evidence
No human efficacy trials for physique use; meaningful safety concerns including hypoglycaemia.
